Industry-leading home technology and cinema room expert, New Wave AV, has revealed its new demonstration room this month. Based in Tonbridge, the space is only one of a few Control4 Certified showrooms in the UK and offers customers a glimpse of what is possible in their own homes. From lighting, climate control and security to the latest home cinema technology, visitors can experience a raft of home automation features and discuss their requirements with a New Wave AV, smart home specialists.

Home Automation

The showroom enables customers to see how each feature works and how it can be integrated into their home. Every element can be demonstrated individually before clients are invited to appreciate the power of full automation via Control4.

Cinema Room

A dedicated home cinema comprises a 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos system with speakers from the Triad Gold range and the projection and screen system from Sony and Screen Research respectively. In addition, the room has been acoustically treated with fabric wrapping, fabric starlight ceiling and home cinema seating.

The finishing touch is calibration. ISF and HAA calibration takes the audio visual experience to a new level, bringing viewers precisely what the director intended. The New Wave AV demonstration room showcases what is achievable, enabling them to discover the available technology before purchasing and ensuring they get the best system for their needs and budget.

Dual Purpose Media Room

In the dual purpose media room, customers can experience the benefits of a lounge-style setting with high-end audio visual technology. Visitors will be introduced to the Kaleidescape movie server and 5.1 Artcoustic loudspeaker system before witnessing the transformation of the room from living area to home cinema. The 55" TV display hides away and a 112" projection screen system emerges, offering the best of both environments in a single space.
