The event’s keynote speaker will be Dr. Matteel Knowles of Greenville, South Carolina, a transformational coach, public speaker, and author who has served as a keynote speaker and workshop facilitator for multiple professional and community organizations and coached individuals in meeting their personal and career goals. Matteel was the first in her family to attend college, persevering over many years until she completed a Ph.D. in her forties. She has overcome challenges including foreclosure, credit card debt, an unhappy marriage, and low self-esteem, learning to believe in herself and forging a better path. Through these experiences, she has developed a five-step transformation model to help others reach their goals and make positive life changes.
