Boca Raton, Florida - Carbon Limit is thrilled to announce that Tim Sperry, its Founder and CEO, was invited to speak as an expert &  leader in Carbon Capture & Carbon Reduction on Thursday, 13th October, 11:40 am at the Spotlight Stage at North Star Dubai 2022 x GITEX Global.

“Our proprietary and disruptive technology generates nature-based and permanent carbon credits, I am excited to share my expertise and thoughts with the distinguished attendees,” stated Tim Sperry, Founder and CEO of Carbon Limit. He went on to talk about this new green manufacturing process by saying,  “The materials in our formula are highly reactive to CO2 carbonization, they also increase the storage capacity of CO2 mineralization in the concrete, and I look forward to sharing more about these materials and process differences and the impacts they will have on the manufacturing and construction sectors in my presentation.”

With his presentation and booth presence at the event, Sperry hopes to bring awareness to carbon emissions and how his tested process will greatly impact the environment and sustainability.

Key Highlights:

Current results show up to:

  •  75% carbon footprint reduction

  •  170% more CO2 absorption compared to standard concrete (The uptake of carbon dioxide by conventional concrete is minimal, if any, making it unsuitable for carbon capture.)

  •  13 % increase in compressive strength on day 28 compared to standard OPC concrete

TIM SPERRY - Founder & CEO / Carbon Limit

A self-taught material scientist with expertise in negative emission technologies NET and carbon dioxide reduction CDR technologies, with a passion for protecting & enhancing the environment.

His dedication to fighting air pollution stems from losing family members to cancer due to others recklessly smoking & polluting the air.

Tim’s decarbonization project started from a previous climate tech company, Smog Armor, which focused on improving indoor air quality with a patented technology that could be integrated into paint, textiles, cardboard, and more, allowing them to directly capture  VOCs and other air pollutants from the air - including CO2 - and storing them permanently.  After witnessing the impact of the technology, Tim’s ambition was directed to the gigaton scale, and Carbon Limit was born. A Florida-based climate tech company, decarbonizing concrete for greener cities, with an impact mission to reach the gigaton scale of CO2 removal.
