Atlanta to spend $1.6 million for surveillance cameras to combat crime spike

Funding will come from the seven tax allocation districts where the cameras will be located: Campbellton Road, Eastside, Hollowell-Martin Luther King, Metropolitan, Perry-Bolton, Stadium and Westside.
