From Memorial Day through Independence Day, GreetingCardUniverse.com (GCUniverse) is offering a special collection of Support our Troops paper greeting cards for only 50 cents each, normally priced at $2.49 a card. Simply choose a card, enter a message, it will be printed and delivered to American service men and women.
GCUniverse is the largest online paper greeting card store and allows freelance artists to offer their art on paper greeting cards. Launched in February 2007, GCUniverse has already attracted more than 300 artists and boasts over 8,000 unique “direct from the artist” greeting cards.
Participating artists have created patriotic cards specifically for this program and are generously waiving their commissions. Working with the USO, these paper greeting cards will be included in Operation USO Care Packages and shipped to uniformed men and women in need of comforts and support from home.
