Safetech Secures Referral Partnership with 1000 Real Estate Agents through Homes & Zones, Launches Campaign in Toronto-Hamilton Area

TORONTO - May 16, 2024 - PRLog -- Homes & Zones, a networking platform connecting businesses with local real estate agents has announced the signing of a groundbreaking 30-month reciprocal referral agreement with Safetech Alarm Systems, a leading provider of home security solutions. Under this agreement, Safetech will gain access to up to 1000 real estate agents across Canada, leveraging their networking skills to acquire new customers.

The campaign, set to launch in the Toronto-Hamilton area on May 21st, will extend to major cities including Ottawa, Edmonton, Calgary, and Vancouver. By the end of the roll-out, Safetech anticipates receiving referrals from 1000 real estate agents, marking a significant enhancement in its client acquisition strategy.

Sean O'Leary, President and Owner of Safetech, heralded the agreement as a breakthrough in new client acquisition within an industry facing stiff competition from large incumbents. "Having 1000 professionally trained networkers advocating for my business and referring me new leads is unprecedented in my industry," said O'Leary, a 30-year veteran in the field with installation teams across Canada awaiting new orders.

Home alarms and security systems represent a substantial market in Canada, with each home sale presenting a potential opportunity for alarm monitoring companies. O'Leary's strategic move positions Safetech with the "largest salesforce in the country", offering direct access and prior knowledge of customers' alarm monitoring needs.

Homes & Zones, recently launched by former TRREB president Stephen Moranis and Sarah Makhomet, facilitates networking between businesses and local real estate agents for a small monthly fee per agent, typically around $40. "Nobody has better connections to top real estate agents and brokerages than Stephen," said Makhomet. "His advocacy for 155,000 agents during his tenure at TRREB and as a former director of CREA can't be matched."

"We're excited to welcome Safetech on-board and anticipate outstanding productivity from this partnership," said Moranis. "Real estate agents possess a level of trust and credibility that's hard to match through traditional advertising. They excel at building and maintaining relationships, making them invaluable when it comes to referring business."

The agreement with Safetech marks a milestone for Homes & Zones as it continues its successful roll-out across Canada, with plans for a cross-border expansion into the US, leveraging Moranis's extensive network.

With Toronto experiencing a spike in automobile thefts and break-ins, Safetech aims to make a pre-emptive strike to reverse this trend through its partnership with Homes & Zones.
