With more than 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Carolyn has certainly proven herself as accomplished and she is expert in her field. She has demonstrated success and advancement throughout her entire career. Currently, Carolyn is the President & CEO of Platinum Specialty Group.
Ms. Verde's expertise is in program and product development and strategic growth initiatives. She has held roles with responsibility for the oversight of national healthcare risk transfer entities serving physicians & surgeons, hospitals, dental, and allied health professions liability coverages as well as general liability, BOP, and workers compensation coverages.
Her impressive repertoire of previous roles includes her position as Director at Captive One, she has served as President and CEO for Uni-Ter, and Executive Vice President for Hays Companies. Carolyn was the Sr Vice President-Healthcare Professional Liability Business Leader for Marsh, she served as the President-Healthcare Professional Liability Division for Arrowhead General Insurance Agency and as Director of Sales for Aon. Carolyn has also contributed to her community through the Leadership Board and Development Committee of Primary Care Development Corp.
Throughout her illustrious career, Carolyn has received awards, accolades and was recognized nationwide for her expertise in the healthcare and insurance industries. This year she is being considered for a feature article in TIP (Top Industry Professionals) Magazine and for the Empowered Woman of the Year Award given by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP). She will be honored for her distinction as Top CEO of the Decade for 2022 at IAOTP’s Annual Awards Gala West being held at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas this December. In past years, she was honored as Top CEO of the Year in Healthcare by IAOTP and named Professional of the Year in 2013 by Who’s Who.
