Titanium, premium Italian leather, silicone, stainless steel, and rugged nylon are the latest watch band materials for the Apple Watch Ultra and Ultra 2, presented by Robust Goods.

-- Robust Goods' choice of premium materials in its signature collection of Apple Watch bands pays homage to several styles from the 1950s through to the 21st century. The brand notes that its sourcing, design, and craftsmanship are rooted in the idea that "Excellence isn't a bonus—it's our baseline."

The brand's 2025 collection of watch straps for the Apple Watch Ultra and Ultra 2 (49mm) features bands made from high-quality Italian leather, Grade 2 titanium, and high-strength carbon fiber. "We could use synthetic leather or regular steel instead of titanium, which is much cheaper, but we believe the strap you wear should match the quality of your watch," explains a spokesperson for the brand.
The Leather Strap R01 and Racing Leather Strap are flagship products that are crafted from Italian leather that breathes, softens with age, and later, develops a rich patina upon sun exposure and regular wear. These leather watch straps have a long heritage, but the way these are styled by Robust Goods—in brown, black, olive green, and tan—pays homage to Europe's automobile 'racing' culture of the 1950s. The rugged, worn-in texture is reminiscent of vintage tool watches from the postwar era, when leather bands were the default for both dress and field watches, explains a spokesperson for the brand.
By embracing the idea of durability over disposability, responsibly sourced materials, and the right to repair, Robust Goods offers customers a line of Apple Watch Ultra bands that combine fine craftsmanship without a luxury markup.
The Titanium Band Pro is made from hypoallergenic Grade 2 Titanium and features a DLC scratch-resistant coating. This band, alongside the Titanium Band T01 and the Titanium Band T05, points to modern minimalism with a link bracelet construction that draws from the integrated metal bracelets found on the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak (1972) and the Patek Philippe Nautilus (1976).
The collection features common watchmaking materials like titanium, stainless steel, and leather alongside carbon fiber, nylon, silicone, and FKM rubber found in newer models like The Carbon Fiber Link Band, the Sport Band, Magnetic Sport Band, and Elastic Band. The collection is now live on the Robust Goods store page.
