-- Starting June 1st, the Inclusive Financial Technology Foundation (InFTF) will open applications for Tugi Grants - a groundbreaking program designed to fuel creativity, inclusion, and social impact through blockchain technology.
“Tugi” means “support” in Estonian, and that’s exactly what these grants offer: accessible, transparent funding for innovators from all backgrounds, not just the tech world.
“Whether you’re an artist, community builder, educator, or entrepreneur, if you have a vision that fosters social wellbeing, Tugi Grants wants to hear from you,” said Jose Antonio Lazaro, International Outreach Manager at the InFTF.
“At the InFTF, we believe that big ideas can come from anywhere. The Tugi Grant Program is our way of lowering barriers and opening doors - empowering people to create, innovate, and lead change without restrictions. By combining blockchain transparency with independent oversight, we’re building a more inclusive and vibrant ecosystem for the future,” said Lazaro.
Each month, up to 10 recipients will each receive 60,000 XAH, the native currency of the Xahau Blockchain. Thanks to smart contracts, approximately 600,000 XAH will be automatically deposited into a public on-chain account, ensuring total transparency from start to finish.
Applications will be evaluated by an independent, diverse judging panel with no direct ties to the InFTF, reinforcing fairness and inclusivity throughout the selection process.
