While the company has recorded strong sales of name-brand butcher-block oils and creams since its founding in 2008, Management has observed growing consumer interest in safer and more sustainable solutions for cleaning, preserving, and protecting butcher block kitchen surfaces. In response, BBCo. formulated non-petroleum-based products that are every bit as effective as market-leading products, such as Boos Block Mystery Oil and Boos Block Board Cream. BBCO. All-Natural Butcher Block Oil is 100% plant-based and mineral oil-free. Made from sustainable Palm Fruit Oil and Rice Bran Oil, it helps guard against moisture-loss by penetrating wood fibers.
BBCO. All-Natural Butcher Block Conditioner, also 100% plant-based and mineral oil-free, preserves and protects wood surfaces used for food preparation. It combines Palm Fruit Oil, Grape Seed Oil and Coconut Oil with Rice Bran Wax to provide a protective barrier. Another plus is that this proprietary formula contains no beeswax.
