On September 26 at 15:31, flight 3U3985 took off from Chengdu, bound for Bali, Indonesia, marking the official launch of Sichuan Airlines' Chengdu-Bali route. The route operates one daily round-trip flight, with the outbound journey scheduled to take 6 hours and 50 minutes and the return journey 6 hours and 45 minutes. One passenger remarked, “After spending my vacation in Bali, I can sleep on the plane and wake up in Chengdu—it’s just so convenient!”
Since the beginning of this year, Sichuan Airlines’s “Panda Route” international flight network has added new destinations including Madrid, Penang, and Athens.
