The program, which began in July of 2024, offers a variety of rebates to homeowners who make improvements to the energy efficiency and comfort of their homes.
To be eligible to receive rebates, participants must invest in a $600 energy audit (this amount can be reimbursed as part of the rebate program), complete at least two qualifying upgrades, and have a home heated by Enbridge Natural Gas before or after the upgrades are completed. Rebates of up to $2,000 are available on cold climate-rated heat pumps and up to $1,000 on Energy Star Rated heat pumps. In combination with other efficiency upgrades, such as attic insulation, air sealing, and basement/header insulation, rebate amounts can be as much as $5,000.
