Kurv Launches KCOP: A New Way of Seeking Enhanced Income With Copper

Kurv Investment Management, a provider of tax-efficient, alternative strategies, today announced the launch of the Kurv Copper & Mining Enhanced Income ETF (CBOE BXZ: KCOP). KCOP aims to offer investors enhanced income while outperforming the price return of copper and copper mining equities. KCOP primarily seeks to maximize total return by actively managing a portfolio with efficient exposure to copper and copper miners while, at the same time, generating potentially tax-efficient income.

“Copper has quickly become an indispensable resource in powering the next-generation technologies, yet in the near future supply will struggle to keep pace with industrial demand,” said Howard Chan, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Kurv Investment Management. “KCOP is designed to tap into those dynamics while seeking enhanced income beyond traditional copper exposure.”

“Kurv was created with the mission to offer sophisticated investment products to the masses, so everyone and anyone can reach their investment objectives,” said Chan. “Creating tax-aware, option-based solutions like KCOP is just one extension toward our goal of giving individual investors and advisors the tools they need for greater success.”

An investor should consider the investment objectives, risks, charges, and expenses of the Fund carefully before investing. To obtain a prospectus containing this and other information, please call 1-833-955-KURV (5878) or visit KurvInvest.com. Read the prospectus carefully before investing.

Fund Objective and Strategies

Fund Objective: Kurv Copper & Mining Enhanced Income ETF seeks to maximize total return. Kurv seeks to fulfill the Fund’s investment objective by using two income strategies: (1) an interest income strategy and (2) an income-generating option strategy on fixed income instruments

An investment in the Fund entails risk, including the loss of principal. The Fund is not a complete investment program and investors should review the risks associated with the Fund before investing. The Fund is an actively managed portfolio, and the portfolio managers will apply investment techniques and risk analyses that may not produce the desired result. There can be no guarantee that the Fund will meet its investment objective.

As an ETF, the Fund is exposed to the additional risks, including: (1) concentration risk associated with Authorized Participants, market makers, and liquidity providers. Such concentration could negatively impact liquidity; (2) costs risks associated with frequent trading; (3) market prices may differ from the Fund’s net asset value; and (4) liquidity risk due to a potential lack of trading volume.

Fund Risks

Fund Risks: The fund may invest in derivative instruments on copper and copper-related exchange traded products (“ETPs”), including copper-related exchange traded funds (“ETFs”) and copper-related exchange traded notes (“ETNs”), backed by a portfolio of Fixed Income Instruments of varying maturities, which may be represented by options and forwards, as well as Preferred Securities Instruments. The Fund may also invest in copper-related ETFs directly as well as in copper and derivative instruments on copper. The Fund also seeks to invest in securities of publicly traded companies primarily involved in the copper mining industry.

Copper Risk: The price of copper may be volatile, and copper-related Exchange Traded Products (“ETPs”), including copper-related exchange traded funds, and derivatives may be highly sensitive to the price of copper. Copper is an industrial metal. Consequently, in addition to factors affecting commodities generally copper related investments may be subject to a number of additional factors specific to industrial metals, and in particular copper, which might cause price volatility.

Copper Mining Companies Risk. Companies in the copper mining industry may be adversely impacted by the volatility of commodity prices, changes in exchange rates, social and political unrest, war, events related to energy conservation, the success of exploration projects, depletion of resources, decreases in demand, over-production, litigation and changes in government regulations or policies, among other factors. Investments in copper mining companies may be speculative and may be subject to greater price volatility than investments in other types of companies.

Kurv Copper & Mining Enhanced Income ETF is distributed by Foreside Fund Services LLC, Member FINRA/SIPC. Foreside Fund Services LLC is not affiliated with Kurv Investment Management.

KCOP aims to offer investors enhanced income while outperforming the price return of copper and copper mining equities.
