Tokyo Record Bar partners with the Thelonious Monk Estate to celebrate the jazz icon’s heavenly 108th birthday with a three-night immersive experience, October 8–10. Guests will enjoy music, art, and cuisine inspired by Monk’s enduring legacy.

Two distinct dining experiences will be featured:

• Vinyl Jukebox Omakase: The Immersive Monk Listening Experience ($140 per person)
  
  
  
  7-course tasting menu with curated vinyl listening sessions, hosted by a Monk family member. Rare and unreleased recordings, paired with a “Monk Jukebox” menu, guide the evening.

The celebration is executive produced by Julion St. Hill, and will also feature DJ and historian Angelika Beener (Kultured Child), niece of Thelonious Monk, together with additional members of the Monk family.
