DeVry University has earned the No. 2 national ranking for 2026 Best Colleges for Information Technology in America according to Niche, a leading platform connecting students and families with colleges and schools.

“At DeVry University, we are laser-focused on student success,” said Elise Awwad, president and CEO of DeVry University. “For almost 95 years, DeVry has been enabling students with tech-forward skills, building a learning experience where innovation, technology and hands-on, experiential education are infused into every course. We are proud to see our university recognized, reaffirming our commitment to preparing learners with the skills they need to succeed today and in the years ahead.”

DeVry is recognized at No. 2 on the publication’s 2026 Best Colleges for Information Technology list of 329 schools. The ranking compares the top I.T. programs in the U.S. and incorporates statistics and student surveys regarding all aspects of the student experience, such as academics, value, professors, diversity, local area, campus quality, safety and student life data from the U.S. Department of Education. According to Niche, 86% of students agree professors are approachable and helpful when needed while 87% say professors care about their success.

“Technology is evolving constantly. Our students are learning to solve real-world problems with real tools,” said Jude Lamour, professor of cybersecurity and cloud computing at DeVry University. “For many of our learners, this is more than a career—they’re helping hospitals, police departments and communities stay safe. Being able to come together and shape the minds of the next generation of tech professionals is truly incredible. It’s why we do what we do every day.”

The university also ranked No. 44 for Best Online Colleges in America out of 260 schools based on an analysis of academic, admissions, financial and student life data from the U.S. Department of Education along with millions of reviews from students and alumni.

“We built Niche to help students and families cut through the noise and make informed choices,” added Luke Skurman, founder and CEO of Niche. “Our rankings are designed to reflect not just data, but the real voices and lived experiences of students across the country. That blend of insight is what makes Niche unique. We’re giving students the clarity to identify the colleges where they see themselves belonging and succeeding.”
