Equity Stakes, Future Franchise Opportunities, Mentorship & (of course) Hair Transformations
Madison Reed, the prestige beauty brand revolutionizing the hair color industry, today announced the expansion of its groundbreaking partnerships across women’s basketball including the return of Team Color Wonder with an expanded roster; plans with Impact Advisors and Brand Ambassadors Paige Bueckers and Azzi Fudd; and an activation to kick off its second year with UConn Athletics and their Women’s Basketball program.
The brand shared its second year plans in tandem with UConn Women’s Basketball’s Team of the Year nomination at the 2025 ESPY Awards. Madison Reed Founder and CEO Amy Errett will host the team at its Los Angeles-area Madison Reed Hair Color Bar for a fun, confidence-fueled Get Ready With Me private event offering professional hair styling including color, gloss, treatments, blow outs for all UConn players and coaches attending the event.
“I started Madison Reed to change the game for women,” said Amy Errett, Founder and CEO of Madison Reed. “These inspiring athletes embody the unstoppable confidence at the heart of our brand, and reinforce our unwavering commitment to unleashing women’s full potential.”
In addition to partnering with the brand on confidence-driven campaigns, content, and head-turning hair transformations, Azzi Fudd is exploring an opportunity to join the Madison Reed team as an intern, gaining hands-on entrepreneurship and marketing experience as she works toward completing her MBA. Madison Reed will also sponsor the ninth year of Fudd’s Hooping for a Cure basketball camp, further supporting her leadership development. This unique blend of mentorship with founder Amy Errett, along with Madison Reed equity stakes, future franchise opportunities, and education exposure positions Fudd as a pioneer in the athlete-entrepreneur space.
“Amy and the Madison Reed team have been so influential to my athletic and entrepreneurial journey, providing pivotal mentorship and true partnership every step of the way,” said Fudd. “This is an exciting time to be in women’s sports, and I hope my relationship with Madison Reed can inspire all women athletes to pursue their dreams on and off the court.”
Team ColorWonder is returning for the 2025-26 season with an expanded roster as UConn athlete KK Arnold joins, representing a new generation of strong women players joining Fudd and returning Team ColorWonder members Ice Brady and Morgan Cheli who helped bring the original Team ColorWonder vision to life.
Madison Reed and Paige Bueckers have carried their second year of partnership into Bueckers’ inaugural professional basketball season in Dallas. Earlier this year, Madison Reed launched the first limited-edition hair color created specifically for a female athlete - UConnic Blonde - and the two will build upon their shared commitment to celebrating the unstoppable power of women through sports, business, beauty and beyond. Madison Reed also launched a partnership with WFAA in Dallas with a new advertisement featuring Amy Errett and sponsorship of WFAA’s halftime coverage with “Empower Plays” and a 4th quarter “Game Changer” segment.
“It means so much to have Madison Reed with me on my journey,” shared Bueckers, “I’m excited to continue creating impact on and off the court.”
Madison Reed’s dedication to mentoring and empowering women, from athletes to fans and family, distinguishes them in the NIL landscape, offering additional unique opportunities that include:
- Providing Team ColorWonder with an equity stake in the Madison Reed business
- Future opportunities to franchise a Madison Reed Hair Color Bar
- Internships with Madison Reed for class credit at UConn
- Exposure to Madison Reed’s internal and external networks
Madison Reed is now entering the second of its three-year sponsorship of UConn’s historic Gampel Pavilion and PeoplesBank Arena - the first female-founded, grad-founded brand with court naming rights at UConn. Madison Reed’s broader partnership with UConn Athletics and its Women’s Basketball team will include the return of its popular campus and game-day activations, plus alumni events and experiences.
Building on the success of the inaugural Team ColorWonder campaign, Madison Reed aims to continue in its mission to boldly change the game for women. Madison Reed doubling down on its collaboration with female athletes comes at a pivotal time for NIL partnerships, with the NIL industry projected to reach $1.67 billion in 2025, and no indication of slowing down.
