Accuris Records Strong Growth in Q1 2025 With Launch of Accuris Thread™, Regulations, and Learning & Development

Company sustains momentum with expanding product portfolio, services, and training initiatives

Accuris, the market leader in engineering standards content and technology, today announced exceptional momentum in Q1 2025, driven by the company's expanding product portfolio. This is highlighted by the recent launch of several innovative solutions for improving engineering workflows.

Accuris Thread and Partnership with Citation Compliance Streamline Requirements Management

In January, the company launched Accuris Thread, a cloud-based requirements solution that identifies, enriches, and extracts digital requirements for use across model-based enterprises and engineering systems.

The Accuris Thread solution extracts requirements from engineering content such as standards, codes, and internal specifications and embeds them into engineering applications while preserving the context of the source material. The solution boasts a 90 percent accuracy rate in requirements identification and extraction, enhancing engineers' ability to locate information, evaluate change impacts, and make quicker decisions.

Accuris will also be vastly expanding the regulatory content available within its Engineering Workbench (EWB) solution. In partnership with Citation Compliance, a regulations content provider, the Accuris platform will be the leading unified hub for both standards and regulations. This partnership provides a solution for design engineers to cross-search and cross-reference regulations alongside more than 2.5 million industry standards, with automatic requirements identification and real-time alerts that notify users of regulatory revisions – updated daily inside EWB.

“We’re constantly hearing from our customers that their worlds are becoming increasingly complicated. Without a centralized knowledge platform, teams struggle with traceability, access, sharing, and using standards and other technical information – leading to longer timelines and increased costs,” said Claude Pumilia, Accuris CEO. “Accuris is working relentlessly to change that. From the launch of Thread to partnering with standards and regulations providers on the latest content, it’s our goal to help engineering teams transform how they operate in a new, digital-first world.”

Launch of Onboarding Services Helps Customers Maximize Value of EWB

This month, Accuris is also launching an Onboarding Services offering designed to help customers optimize the value of EWB. This offering, which is divided into three tiers – Basic, Plus, and Premium – provides structured, expert-led training programs tailored to meet the diverse needs of organizations. The offering is designed to accelerate and streamline the deployment and adoption of EWB, and improve productivity.

Introduction of ESDU VGK Toolbox Enhances Aerospace Design Processes

In Q1, Accuris added ESDU VGK Toolbox to its portfolio. Based on decades of aerospace research, this tool is designed to support aerospace engineers and aircraft designers, academics, and researchers working on the design and optimization of aerofoil sections.

Company Launches Formal Learning and Development Initiative

Building upon Accuris' 60-year legacy of engineering expertise and partnerships with standards development organizations (SDOs), the company launched a comprehensive Learning & Development (L&D) program in Q1. The program offers a centralized library of certified courses, customized learning pathways, and integrated workflows that streamline the engineering learning process.

Accuris Celebrates 50 Years of SPAB

Accuris continues to prioritize delivering industry standards to end-users and creating a community that fosters critical discussions about the future of standards development.

In February, Accuris hosted the 50th annual Standards Publishing Advisory Board (SPAB) meeting, which was attended by more than 140 standards professionals from over 60 organizations. The conference featured a variety of sessions covering emerging technologies in industrial automation, revenue diversification strategies for standards organizations, supporting SDO volunteer efforts, and integrating digital standards into engineering workflows.
