4imprint® Earns Sixth Consecutive Vets Ready Employer Award

Statewide Honor Recognizes Commitment to Hiring and Supporting Veterans

Oshkosh-based promotional products retailer 4imprint Inc. is among 25 Wisconsin businesses to earn Vets Ready Employer Initiative awards for 2025. The annual distinction recognizes employers that go above and beyond to hire and support veterans and their families. This is the sixth consecutive year 4imprint has received the veteran-friendly employer honor and the first time it has earned gold certification in the large employer category.

“We strive to be a workplace strengthened by its range of associate backgrounds and experiences,” said Kevin Lyons-Tarr, CEO of 4imprint. “Veterans bring a valuable perspective, and we’re happy to offer a place where they can contribute, grow and belong.”

Earlier this year, 4imprint also earned a Patriot Employer Award from Disabled American Veterans® for outstanding support for veterans. Among the ways the company has shown appreciation for veterans’ service:

  • In honor of Veterans Day, 4imprint offers paid time off to current and former members of the armed services and spouses of those who have served, participates in a donation drive to support veterans nationwide, provides a take-home meal and gift for veterans, and recognizes associates for their service.
  • 4imprint attends local job fairs specific to employing veterans, networks with veterans’ organizations, spotlights veteran associates’ stories on 4imprint.com and hosts an annual open house for organizations that assist veterans with employment.
  • 4imprint provides a Military Leave and Pay Differential Program for military members scheduled for training, drills or a call to active duty. The program supports military members in their service and provides continuity for up to 10 days each year.

The Vets Ready Employer distinction is part of the Vets Ready Employer Initiative by the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development and its Office of Veteran Employment Services. The initiative encourages employers to build a support system within their workplace, hire and retain more veterans and connect to veterans in the community and their families. Each year, award applicants are rated based on criteria including the organization’s support for veterans in the workplace, hiring practices that prioritize veteran hires and efforts to connect to the wider veteran community. Organizations are awarded gold or silver certifications in large and medium employer categories.

The Vets Ready Employer Initiative is a partnership between DWD and the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs, Disabled American Veterans Department of Wisconsin, Wisconsin American Legion, Employer Support of the Guard and Reserves, and the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation.
