FHLBank Pittsburgh welcomes Brendan J. McGill as incoming FHLBank Pittsburgh Board Chair and is pleased to announce Louise Herrle was reelected as Board Vice Chair for another two-year term. Mr. McGill joined the Board of Directors in 2017 and Ms. Herrle joined in 2018.
Mr. McGill is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Harleysville Bank and Harleysville Financial Corporation. Mr. McGill joined Harleysville Bank in 1999 as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, and has held executive leadership roles since, including Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. McGill is also a Director of Harleysville Bank and Harleysville Financial Corporation.
Mr. McGill is actively involved in the community; he is currently on the board and a member of Pennsylvania Bankers Association’s Services Corporation. He is also a member of Pennsylvania Association of Community Bankers. Mr. McGill’s previous involvement includes serving as a board member of Spruce Lake Retreat, Financial Managers Association of Philadelphia and North Penn United Way, and former committee member of Lutheran Community at Telford. Mr. McGill resides in Devon with his wife, Jennifer and five children.
Ms. Herrle is a retired financial executive with more than 35 years’ experience in capital markets including global funding, risk management, derivatives and capital management. She serves as an independent director with Mizuho Bank, USA; Mizuho Securities, USA; and Mizuho Americas, LLC. Ms. Herrle has also served in a variety of financial executive leadership roles, including Managing Director, Capital Markets at Incapital, LLC, Chief Investment Officer at Chrysler Financial LLC, Head of Corporate Finance and Treasurer at GMAC Residential Capital Corporation and Treasurer and Head of Global Debt Funding at Freddie Mac.
