Tractor Supply Recognized as a Top Workplace Among Local and National Employers

Nashville Business Journal, The Tennessean, Forbes and Newsweek include rural lifestyle retailer in 2023 rankings of best places to work

Tractor Supply Company (NASDAQ: TSCO), the largest rural lifestyle retailer in the United States, announced today that it has been recognized by the Nashville Business Journal on its Best Places to Work list and by The Tennessean in its rankings of Top Workplaces in Middle Tennessee. On the national stage, the company was named a Best Employer for Women by Forbes and one of America’s Greatest Workplaces by Newsweek.

“Taking care of our Team Members and their families is central to who we are at Tractor Supply and the culture and values that make us so unique,” said Melissa Kersey, chief human resources officer at Tractor Supply. “It is an honor to be recognized for our investments in these areas, especially based on feedback that comes directly from our incredible Team Members.”

Tractor Supply has been recognized in previous years by both the Nashville Business Journal and The Tennessean as a top workplace. To compile their respective lists, employees of nominated companies are asked to complete an online survey regarding work environment, leadership, culture and more. The Tennessean, the only publication to rank its winning workplaces, placed Tractor Supply fifth in the Large Company category, an increase of three places from 2022.

Forbes’ list of Best Employers for Women was identified based on an independent survey of more than 60,000 employees and incorporates dimensions including atmosphere and development, flexibility, working conditions, family support and salary/wages.

Newsweek’s inaugural America’s Greatest Workplaces list is based on a national employer survey that evaluates companies on categories that include corporate culture, working environment, work-life balance, training and career progression, proactive workforce diversity and more.

Tractor Supply employs nearly 1,300 Team Members locally across Middle Tennessee, and more than 52,000 nationwide. To learn more about employment at Tractor Supply, visit TractorSupply.careers.
