Interim HealthCare CEO and President Jennifer Sheets Joins National Association for Home Care & Hospice Board of Directors

Jennifer Sheets, CEO and President of Interim HealthCare Inc., the nation’s leading franchise network of home care, senior care, home health, hospice and healthcare staffing services, has been elected to the National Association for Home Care & Hospice’s (NAHC) Board of Directors. Her three-year term began on January 1, 2023.

“I am thrilled to join the NAHC Board of Directors and serve among a group of industry leaders I so greatly admire,” Jennifer Sheets commented. “The crux of my work over the past few years has centered around ensuring the stability and preservation of the vital services provided through home healthcare, and I look forward to helping further shape the future of our industry.”

Sheets is a longtime advocate of the home healthcare industry and over the past three years has spent countless hours working with federal and state governments to expand home care worker protections, increase funding and reimbursement rates, and enhance educational opportunities to boost employee recruitment and retention efforts. Most recently, she joined other home healthcare industry leaders in meetings with key legislators and legal teams in Washington, D.C., which culminated in the drafting and introduction of the bipartisan Preserving Access to Home Health Act. She is also working to build grassroots advocacy efforts among Interim HealthCare’s franchisees and stakeholders to make the voices of their patients heard nationwide as the bill circulates through Congress.

In addition to her role at Interim HealthCare, Sheets also serves as president and CEO of its parent company, Caring Brands International, which encompasses entities in the U.K., Ireland and Australia. She has over 25 years of experience in healthcare management in both acute and post-acute settings, with a track record of introducing innovative and progressive care delivery programs that drive growth through clinical excellence, improved patient outcomes and reduced delivery costs. Prior to moving into healthcare administration, Jennifer was an ICU nurse, giving her a deep understanding of both sides of the care continuum and firsthand experience of how disconnected the healthcare delivery system can be. She still maintains her nurses license to this day.

The National Association for Home Care & Hospice is the largest and most respected professional association representing the nation’s 33,000 home care and hospice organizations. The NAHC Board of Directors is responsible for governing and guiding the association to improve the delivery of care at home through advocacy and education. The board consists of 15 directors, including nine elected and six appointed members.
