As president of Mission 34 and a longtime real estate agent, she has built a career defined by service, resilience and a commitment to creating meaningful relationships and change.

A Leader in Advocacy, Real Estate and Community Engagement

Since 2019, Ms. Bonner has led Mission 34, a nonprofit organization founded in memory of her son, Sean Jr. Under her leadership, the organization has advanced its mission to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental illness and foster open, honest dialogue about mental health-particularly among college athletes and young adults. Ms. Bonner oversees all facets of Mission 34's operations, including awareness events, chapter curriculum development, merchandising, social media, and marketing. She collaborates closely with ambassadors, college and city chapters, and community partners to broaden the organization's impact.

Earlier in her career, she held marketing and sales roles in the cosmetics industry, including positions with the Elizabeth Arden fragrance division in New York City and later with Elizabeth Arden Inc. in London. These professional experiences have strengthened her strategic and communication skills, contributing meaningfully to her success in both real estate and nonprofit leadership.

Ms. Bonner holds a Master of Business Administration in marketing and international business from Fordham University and a bachelor's degree in economics, with a minor in French, from Hobart and William Smith Colleges. She is also a graduate of The Pomfret School, class of 1984. Her academic background has provided a solid foundation for her work in marketing, business development and nonprofit management.

A Deep Personal Commitment to Mission 34

Mission 34 represents a deeply personal endeavor for Ms. Bonner and her family, rooted in their commitment to honoring Sean Jr.'s legacy. She believes that powerful branding can spark meaningful conversations around mental health and assure young adults they are not alone. Looking ahead, she envisions Mission 34 chapters in every state, with sustained board leadership and her continued role as executive director until she and her husband's eventual retirement.

A Life of Creativity, Activity and Family

Ms. Bonner's personal life reflects her active and creative nature. A passionate photographer inspired by her grandfather, she has documented countless sports and family milestones over the years. She previously enjoyed running, biking, tennis, and played ice hockey for a decade. Currently, her hobbies include yoga, pickleball and Mahjong. Above all, she finds joy in her children's accomplishments: her eldest daughter is a physician in emergency medicine in New York, her youngest son is exploring career paths post-COVID graduation, and her middle son, Sean Jr., remains the guiding inspiration behind Mission 34

Community Engagement and Recognition

Ms. Bonner's dedication to service extends well beyond her professional roles. She has volunteered with Christ Church, Christ Church Kindergarten, Charlotte Latin School, and mental health organizations, including the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
