Entrepreneur and Belief Marketing Founder Encourages Community Action Through Direct, Local Support
JEFFERSONVILLE, GA / ACCESS Newswire / August 15, 2025 / David Wiley, founder of Belief Marketing Services and former All-American athlete, is using his business platform to advocate for a growing crisis too many overlook: the urgent, unmet needs of families living on the margins.
Wiley, recently featured in a spotlight article titled "David Wiley's Path from All-American to Marketing Leader," shared how his work and nonprofit outreach intersect to address the hidden gaps in support systems across America.
"We help people on the edge-those who don't have a safety net," Wiley says. "Sometimes it's groceries. Sometimes it's rent. Sometimes the power's about to get cut off. That's the reality."
Wiley's nonprofit, Cash In Time Ministries, responds to real-time needs for individuals and families who fall through the cracks of traditional assistance. His message is clear: community-based, immediate help can have the biggest impact.
The Scope of the Problem
According to the Federal Reserve's Economic Well-Being Report, nearly 1 in 3 adults in the U.S. would struggle to cover a $400 emergency expense without borrowing or selling something. And over 25 million households report being behind on utility payments in the past year, per data from the National Energy Assistance Directors Association.
Wiley says these numbers reflect the people he helps daily through Cash In Time Ministries.
"It's not always long-term poverty. It's one missed paycheck. One medical bill. One flat tire," he notes. "And suddenly, a working family is without power or food."
A Business Leader with a Human Lens
Wiley, who built Belief Marketing from the ground up, says his business success sharpened his focus on impact.
"In marketing, you learn to listen carefully to need. I use that same mindset in service," he explains. "You don't need a giant organization to help. You just need to pay attention."
He believes small acts, done consistently, create the strongest safety nets.
Wiley has also applied that mindset to youth development. As a girls' soccer coach for eight years, he helped a rec-level team of 9-year-olds grow into one of Georgia's top 10 teams by age 13.
"The biggest wins I've ever seen came from kids who just needed someone to believe in them," he says.
Call to Action: What You Can Do
Wiley isn't asking for donations. Instead, he's calling for a shift in perspective-encouraging individuals to look for needs in their own communities and respond with empathy, speed, and intention.
"You don't have to start a nonprofit. You don't have to be rich," he says. "Just notice the people right in front of you. If someone's out of work, help them job hunt. If a neighbor's struggling, cover a bill. That's where the change starts."
He believes supporting local needs - before they become full-blown emergencies - is one of the most powerful actions anyone can take.
