New Holland Announces Winners of Its Photojournalism Award

New Holland South America announced the winners of its annual New Holland Photojournalism Award. The prestigious photo contest was held for the 14th time and four winners were honored during a virtual event on Earth Day. In total, 530 professional and amateur photographers from 11 Latin American countries participated in the contest – a 56.8% increase in the number of entries compared to the previous year.

In the Professional Machine category, the winner was Sergio Ranalli from Londrina (Paraná state, Brazil), with the image “Colheita” ("Harvest"); in the Amateur Machine category, the winning photo was "Corn Harvest" by Rodrigo Arabori from Terra Bonita (Paraná state, Brazil). In the Professional Field category, the winner was Ricardo Wolffenbüttel from Florianópolis (Santa Catarina state, Brazil) with the photograph “A Terra Cura” ("The land heals"); and in the Amateur Field category, Noilton Pereira de Lacerda from Ruy Barbosa (Bahia state, Brazil) won with the photograph “Simplicidade” ("Simplicity").

The winning images, along with those that received honorable mention, will be part of a traveling exhibition, with a total of 31 images, which will tour Brazil in the coming months, highlighting photography that focuses on life in the field in Latin America.
