On October 22, 2009, Hubbell Incorporated (the Company) reported net income of $57.3 million and
earnings per diluted share of $1.01 for the third quarter of 2009, as compared to net income of
$66.5 million and earnings per diluted share of $1.18 for the third quarter of 2008.
