Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Principal Officers. |
On June 18, 2006, Southwest Gas Corporation (the “Company”) was informed of the death of director Manuel J. Cortez, who passed away that same day. Mr. Cortez served as a distinguished member of the board of directors of the Company since 1991 and will be greatly missed. He served on the compensation and pension plan investment committees of the board at the time of his death.
