On
October 29, 2007, Alltel Corporation (“Alltel”) issued a press release
announcing the preliminary results of the previously announced cash tender
offers and consent solicitations by Alltel's wholly-owned subsidiaries, Alltel
Communications, Inc. (“ACI”) and Alltel Ohio Limited Partnership (“Alltel
Ohio”), for ACI's and Alltel Ohio's outstanding debt securities. A
copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated
herein by reference.
