Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Principal Officers.

On October 7, 2005, the Board of Directors announced that Douglas N. Biddle has been appointed the president and chief executive officer of Plumas Bancorp, the bank holding company and parent company of Plumas Bank. Most recently he was president and chief operating officer of Plumas Bank and executive vice president and chief operating officer of Plumas Bancorp. William E. Elliott, Biddle's predecessor, officially retired on October 5, 2005. Elliott will continue to be involved in the company as a member of the Board of Directors.
