São Paulo, March 7, 2005 GOL Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes (NYSE: GOL and Bovespa: GOLL4), Brazils low-fare, low-cost airline, today released passenger statistics for the month of February 2005. In domestic market flights, revenue passenger kilometers increased 5.8% over the same month in 2004, and load factor was 71%. In international market flights (between Brazil and Argentina) load factor was 77%. Domestic market share was 24% and International market share was 2%.
GOL currently operates twenty-seven 737 aircraft. Since December 2004, GOL dedicated two of its fleet to operate regular daily flights between five Brazilian cities and Buenos Aires, Argentina. Capitalizing on its new Buenos Aires base, during the February summer vacation a month of increased leisure passenger travel GOL ran a highly successful night flight service between the cities of Navegantes and Buenos Aires. Also during the month of February, GOL increased its overall fleet size by two aircraft to 29. The two additional aircraft will begin transporting passengers in the Brazilian market at the end of March 2005.
