ITEM 5.02 DEPARTURE OF DIRECTORS OR PRINCIPAL OFFICERS; ELECTION OF DIRECTOR; APPOINTMENT OF PRINCIPAL OFFICERS. Bank of South Carolina Corporation announces that Nathaniel I. Ball, III, Executive Vice President and Director of Bank of South Carolina Corporation, will retire from Bank of South Carolina Corporation and its subsidiary, The Bank of South Carolina, effective July 31, 2005. Mr. Ball was a member of the Loan Committee, the Community Reinvestment Act Committee, the Executive/Planning Committee, and the Disclosure Committee. In addition, Mr. Ball was the Senior Loan Officer and Investment Officer for The Bank of South Carolina and the Administrator and Trustee for Bank of South Carolina Corporation's Employee Stock Option Plan.
