Item 8.01 Other Events.
On September 7, 2012, Chemtura Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing a process to exercise the accordion feature under the Company’s existing senior secured credit agreement to raise an aggregate principal amount of up to $125 million. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
