Item 8.01. Other Events.
 
On July 17, 2008, Wuhan General Group (China), Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that its application to list its common stock on the NASDAQ Capital Market was approved. The Company’s common stock is expected to commence trading on the NASDAQ Capital Market on July 18, 2008 under the symbol “WUHN.” The Company’s common stock was most recently quoted on the OTC Bulletin Board under the symbol “WUHN.OB.” A copy of the press release is filed herewith as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated by reference herein.
