On March 15, 2006, Steel Dynamics, Inc. issued a press release announcing that General Motors has withdrawn its appeal of a 2004 trial court dismissal, in favor of Steel Dynamics, of GM’s 2004 breach of contract lawsuit against SDI. A copy of the press release is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1.
