Item 2.02 – Results of Operations and Financial Condition.
On October 20, 2005, Mid-State Bancshares reported diluted earnings of $0.41 per share for the three months ended September 30, 2005, a 13.9% increase over the $0.36 earned one year earlier. Net income for the third quarter of 2005 was $9.5 million, a 9.4% increase over the $8.7 million earned in the like 2004 period.
